Never commissioned a translation before? Here’s how it works.
Send me a copy of the Dutch, German or Afrikaans text you want to have translated, and I will send you a quote. You can send me documents in many different formats:
- All Microsoft Office and Open Office formats (Windows or Mac)
- HTML, XML
- InDesign
- TXT/RTF files
- URLs
For marketing texts, websites etc. I will also need a brief with information on your target audience, key message, background and so on , so that I can make sure my translation resonates with the people who will be reading it.
For technical texts, I will consult with you about any in-house terminology you may have so that I can use it in my translations.
In my quote I will also provide a suggested delivery date, and if I am quoting on material for publication my price will include proofreading the final layout. If you are happy with my quote, we will finalise the delivery date – and you can sit back and relax, knowing your document is in the best hands.
